SelinsgroveSpeedway.com is happy to bring racing fans another season of fun and memories with the Flashback Photo Contest. Thanks to local speedway historians and photographers we will be able to share remarkable photos, from the first years of Selinsgrove Speedway through the present and with donations from current race teams and Speedway supporters we can award prizes while stirring up vivid memories for area race fans. With the Pro Stock 20 on tap this week we feature the 1988 Street Stock #14. This driver has multiple feature wins in multiple feature wins in multiple divisions including the Street Stocks. The only other hint is that both his first and last name start with the same letter.
Last weeks Flashback brought some bad news as we found out that Scott Ausherman, driver of the J.L. Howard Sanitation #39 from 1979, is in ill health. Scott logged 9 top 5's in his career at Selinsgrove but never made the trip to victory lane. He has also driven 360 sprints and Super Sportsman where he has 8 feature wins at the former Silver Springs Speedway. Keep the Ausherman family in your thoughts.
We are currently working with race teams for contest prizes. Hopefully contests with prizes will start shortly.

Flashback Photo Contest Rules:Every week during the contest a new photo or photos of cars or drivers who called Selinsgrove Speedway home will be posted on the Flashback Photo page.Anyone wishing to participate in the contest should email their guess(es) by clicking on the email link under the photo. Please include your name and hometown in the e-mail. All correct entries will be submitted to a random drawing on a regular basis depending on prize availability. The photos will change on Saturday afternoons and the identity of the driver(s) and contest winner(s) will be announced here and at the speedway. Only one correct entry per person each week will be submitted to the random drawing. SelinsgroveSpeedway.com staff reserves the right to issue multiple prizes each week or to combine 2 or more weeks into one drawing, at their discretion, based on prize availability.All winners will be contacted by email and given a choice of prizes available. Prizes can be picked up at the Speedway on race nights. Shipping will be considered if necessary. All decisions, as made by SelinsgroveSpeedway.com staff, are final.

Your Help Still Needed - SelinsgroveSpeedway.com staff is constantly looking for photos of cars and drivers from Selinsgrove Speedway in order to continue the Flashback Photo Contest for years to come. Anyone willing to share their photographic memories with other race fans is urged to contact website staff at flashbackphoto@selinsgrovespeedway.com. While we will accept pictures from any era, we are especially looking for photos from the mid 1980's thru the present. It's hard to believe that in 2030 the stars of today will be featured in Flashback Photos.
