SRP Regulars Hit Shellhammers Speedway For Round 1
Many Selinsgrove Regular Kart Racers And their Families made the trip down South to Shellhammers Speedway on Sunday for round one of the 2008 Pennsylvania Dirt Kart Series. It was a great turnout and representation of Selinsgrove Raceway Park. Later this Summer, SRP will host round four and six of the six race series.
Quentin Graham, Morgan Hons & Jon Keister all took home fast time awards in their respective classes. There were still a few of the main events yet to be run at the time I left the grounds, so I apoligize if I missed anyone. But earlier in the events, Nathan Long captured checkered flag honors by winning the Jr. Sportsman Champ 2 class. Former Selinsgrove native Jeff Rathfon took home a gold, as well as Jon Keister from the pole in Mediums. Coby Cressinger also picked up one victory out of the two classes he entered on Sunday.
